Questions You May Have

Do any of the sessions involve touch?
In extraction work and energy clearing work, the practitioner may touch the client if the client gives permission first. Private areas are never touched, and the client remains fully clothed at all times.

What type of service should I choose?
All services begin with a consultation session. I will make suggestions as to which type of service might be best for you unless you are sure as to how you would like to proceed. You can always switch to a different type of work or flow between types of work if it is appropriate.

Will shamanic work be in conflict with my religion or belief system?
Shamanism is not a religion or specific belief system and works in tandem with any religion. At Creative Journeys, all clients are welcomed with Spiritual democracy, meaning that any belief system they have is honored.

I am not a Spiritual person. Would a shamanic healing be appropriate for me?
Shamanic healing works energetically and helps a client move toward wholeness, whatever that might mean for each individual. The primary goal is for the client to feel more connected to themselves and all parts of themselves and to cultivate peace in life. This may take the form of a quiet space in the house to quiet the mind or taking time to experience the beauty of nature in a more present way.

Do you accept insurance?
I am on the panel for Blue Shield clients and those who have Managed Health Network for their mental health insurance. Insurance can only be billed for psychotherapy and group therapy unless your plan offers special coverage for other types of healing.

What kinds of results will I get from shamanic healing sessions?

Shamanic healing is an ancient spiritual method of healing that deals with the spiritual aspect of illness. As shamanic healing deals with the spiritual aspect of illness there is no way to predict the results that will manifest emotionally or physically. Shamanic healing does not replace the need for traditional psychological and medical treatment or advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
